PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fertilizer capable of uniformizing an application amount of fertilizer for a pot for raising seedling and preventing fertilizer particles from moving/scattering by watering work and dropping by moving the pot. SOLUTION: A fertilizer shaped into a triangle for a pot is used. One of the angles of the triangle is made as an insertion part into a cultivation soil and the height H in the direction of insertion into the cultivation soil is set at 40 mm or less. The shaped fertilizer is different from granular fertilizers known so far and dropping from the pot is remarkably less. Besides, the fertilizer is different from a rod-like fertilizer and a pile-like fertilizer and can efficiently supply fertilizer components near to the root zone of a plant because the fertilizer exists near to the surface layer of the cultivation soil. In addition, its contact to roots of a plant in soil is remarkably less. Therefore, it exhibits a stable fertilizer effect for a long time and gives plants good growth conditions compared with conventional fertilizers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
