PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve display effects of a commercial product, namely a bag that has sidewise gussets, by improving its self-support stability and appearance. SOLUTION: The sidewise gussets 4 are formed by joining both sides of the front and back body films 1a and 1b by side seals 5. Each sidewise gusset 4 has a first fold ridge line 4a of a V-shape, which starts from a corresponding side near the opening 2 of the bag, namely from the vertex P of a triangle in which a bottom B is two times greater than the fold width H of a bottom gusset 8, toward the bottom of the bag. The ridge line 4a has an inclined angleθ1 projecting inward as far as the folding ridge line 8a of the bottom gusset 8. The bottom of each sidewise gusset 4 has a W-shaped fold. The mountain fold of the W-shaped fold has a second fold ridge line 4b parallel to the fold ridge line 8a of the bottom gusset 8. The valley fold has a third fold ridge line 4c that has an inclined angleθ2 projecting outward in the direction of the side of the bag bottom from the end Q of the inclined angleθ1 reaching the fold ridge line 8a of the bottom gusset 8 of the first fold ridge line 4a.
