PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk preventing an increase in cost even in a desk with a top board width of 1000 mm in particular, non-impairing the conventional functions and capable of securing some extent of space around a leg part of a user in the study desk consisting of a desk body and a desk bookshelf disposed at the rear part of the top board of the desk body. SOLUTION: The study desk consisting of the desk body and the desk bookshelf disposed at the rear part of the top board of the desk body is disposed with left/right side legs on the lower faces of the left/right end parts of the top board in such a manner that the left/right side edges and the outside end faces of the top board are flush with each other, locking recess parts for locking locking parts of connecting metal fittings for mounting the desk bookshelf are also used as grip recess parts for carrying, and notched recess parts facing the lower faces of the left/right ends of the top board are provided in the upper ends of the left/right side legs across the front/rear direction.
