PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a plurality of trigger conditions for starting waveform recording and trigger conditions for terminating waveform recording while being a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A measuring device comprises starting condition registers 6a, 6b, finishing condition registers 6c, 6d, a selecting portion 7 which outputs either starting condition data Da, Db or finishing condition data Dc Dd recorded in the starting condition registers 6a, 6b and in finishing condition registers 6c, 6d, a data recording portion 5, a memory controlling portion 4 which records waveform data D1 from the input of a starting trigger signal Str to the input of a finishing trigger signal Str in the data recording portion 5, and a trigger generating portion 3 which outputs the starting trigger signal Str when a starting condition is satisfied comparing the waveform data D1 with the starting condition data being output from the selecting portion 7 and the finishing trigger Str when a finishing condition is satisfied comparing the waveform data D1 with the finishing condition data being output from the selecting portion 7 in a trigger generating operation.
