PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manufacturing efficiency of a body and to reduce manufacturing costs of an expansion valve. SOLUTION: The body 4 is molded with a resin, and a power element 3 is fixed by fitting an outer peripheral edge portion of the power element 3 to fitting grooves 17, 18 of an arc-shaped extending portion 16 formed integrally with the body 4, and covered by a heat-insulating cover 25 made of a resin. As the body 4 having a structure not needing secondary processing for connecting the power element 3 can be manufactured by integral molding of the resin, the manufacturing efficiency of the body 4 can be improved, and the manufacturing costs of the expansion valve can be reduced.
