<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new oxonol compound excellent in recording characteristics, production aptitude and light fastness. <P>SOLUTION: This bis type oxonol compound having a bis type oxonol anion part and the viologen cation part, expressed by general formula (I) [wherein, Za<SP>21</SP>to Za<SP>24</SP>are each independently an atom group forming an acidic nucleus, and as a concrete example, 1,3-dioxane-4,6-diones can be cited; Ma<SP>21</SP>to Ma<SP>26</SP>are each a specific substituent; and Q<SP>2+</SP>is a divalent cation, e.g. the viologen cation having a bipyridyl structure] . <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
