PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer apparatus capable of efficiently managing device information such as setting information and license information. SOLUTION: The computer apparatus includes a device-information holding means which holds device information which contains setting information of the own device and license information for using the device, an image generating means which generates image data for printing the device information on a sheet in a predetermined form, and a device-information setting means which sets the device information into the device-information holding means based on image data read from the printed sheet on which the device information is printed.
