The controller is equipped with a housing, an outer link, an inner link, and a sensor. The outer link supporting the sensor is connected to the inner link by at least one joint so that the outer link rotates relative to the inner link and expands and contracts relative to the inner link. The inner link is connected to the housing by at least one joint so that the inner link rotates about two rotational axes which are mutually perpendicular.
