PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator unit for a hard-disc drive which reduces outgassing and contamination, and stably maintains a low torque in a wide temperature range of -40°C to 100°C. SOLUTION: In the actuator unit wherein a magnetic head for the hard-disc drive is borne in an oscillating manner, rolling bearings are fit to the shaft in the housing. An inner ring, outer ring, rolling elements, the housing, and the shaft which constitute the rolling bearing are formed of a martensite stainless steel material or a ferrite stainless steel material. A fluoride-containing polymer of a viscosity index of at least 300 is applied on at least one of the inner-ring raceways, outer-ring raceways, rolling elements, and cages of the roll bearings.
