PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder and ink jet recording method which can record an image of high definition by correcting more accurately the deviation of the positions for forming dots caused by the inclination of a recording head. SOLUTION: According to the diviated quantity of the forming positions of dots D1 to D192 caused by the inclination of the recording head, a recording resolution in the main scan direction is associated with the number of partitions of nozzle group at carrying out a so-called block drive for the recording head and set therewith.
