The carriage (20) has a carriage body (21) inserted into a recess at a plane body, where the body has a coupler at a backside of a guidance recess for fastening a plane chain. A front part (24) is provided in a front side of the guidance recess. Ends of the front part point in a driving direction form stop surfaces (23) for cooperating with anti-stop surfaces in the recess of the plane body. A damping unit (30) is integrated into the front part, which cooperates with the associated anti-stop surface that is dampened in both driving directions.
