FIELD: chemical industry; method of manufacture of the molding insert. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of reprocessing of the plastics, in particular, to manufacture of the inserts for the molds for production of the products of the angle head type, and may be used in their production, both - by the pressing method, and the method of the pressure die casting. The technical result of the invention is development of the method of manufacture of the molding inserts allowing to increase efficiency, the quality and accuracy of manufacture of the inserts, and also allowing to vary the shape and dimensions of the working part of the insert. The technical result of the invention is attained by the method of manufacture of the mold insert, at which the body of the insert is made the lengthwise-cutting. The barrel-shaped working surface of its parts - the semi-inserts is made by the lathe turning from one workpiece on the specially intended for it mandrel. Parameters of the barrel-shape surface select proceeding from the following conditions: the height of the barrel is equal to the diameter of the insert, the radius of the barrel generatrix is equal to the half of the insert diameter, the radius of the barrel equator exceeds or is equal to the radius of the barrel generatrix, but is less than the insert diameter or equal to it. ^ EFFECT: the invention ensures development of the method of manufacture of the molding inserts, the increased efficiency, the quality and accuracy of manufacture of the mold inserts, the variation of the shape and dimensions of the working part of the inserts. ^ 6 dwg |
