<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for smoothly performing each of an operation to erect a display panel laid on a main body and an operation to rotate the erected display panel. <P>SOLUTION: Electronic equipment 1 includes a main body 2, a display panel 3, a hinge mechanism 4, and a receiving part 5. The hinge mechanism 4 connects the display panel 3 with the main body 2. A rotating shaft 41 of the hinge mechanism 4 rotatably supports the display panel 3 relative to the main body 2. A pivot 42 of the hinge mechanism 4 rotatably holds the display panel 3 openably-closably relative to the main body 2. The receiving part 5 has a protrusion 51 and disposed on an upper face of the main body 2. The protrusion 51 abuts an edge 33 on the side of the pivot 42 of the display panel 3 in a state in which a display face 31a or a rear face 31b of the display panel 3 faces a keyboard (input device) 8 in the direction along the direction of rotation of the display panel 3 around the rotating shaft 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
