<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle hands-free calling unit which requires no abandonment of transmission right when a driver wants to continue a conversation. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle hands-free calling unit 10 is equipped with an input part 12 for inputting status information showing that a transmission switch 40 mounted in a vehicle steering wheel 30 is operated by a driver, and a processing part 13 for executing a process for holding a transmission right for transmitting a voice signal expressing a driver's voice in a communication network while the status information is input into the input part 12.
