A METHOD OF PHASE INFORMATION EXTRACTION AT DIGITAL HOLOGRAM

A method for extracting phase data from a digital hologram is provided to reproduce an image of an object numerically by using interference intensity input from a camera and a calculated phase item. An object beam is photographed one time and the photographed image is recorded through equation 9. A reference beam is photographed one time and then the resultant is recorded through equation 10. Data of an interference pattern of equation 11 are obtained by using equations 9 and 10. Phase data of equation 12 are found by using equation 11. Zero-th diffraction light or a double image is numerically removed from hologram by using the phase data calculated through equation 12. The phase value of the reproduced image is calculated by using phase data obtained through equation 12. Three-dimensional data of an object recorded through the hologram are extracted by employing a phase unwrapping scheme for the phase value.
