FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves subcutaneously slowly introducing mixture containing 2% lidocaine solution 0.5 ml, lydase 64 AU and Cephotaxime 1 ml available in single syringe. A half of syringe contents is subxiphoidally introduced and the other half into VIII intercostal space along middle axillary line on pathological process side. One injection is given once a day during 5 days and pleural sack is concurrently drained. ^ EFFECT: rapidly arrested inflammatory process.
