<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic container having a decompression absorbing function without using a decompression absorbing panel, excellent in strength and excellent in design. <P>SOLUTION: The plastic container 1 consists of a barrel 2, a mouth 3 provided above the barrel 2 and a bottom 4 provided below the barrel 2. The barrel 2 has annular grooves 8a, 8b, 8c and 8d formed along the entire circumference of the barrel 2.
