PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for evaluating the risk of a deterioration in renal function. SOLUTION: The method enables the measurement of concentration of angiotensinogen in urine, in order to evaluate the risk of lowering of a glomerular filtration rate and/or the risk of the need for a hemodialysis, and the apparatus measures the concentration of angiotensinogen in urine, in order to evaluate the risk of deterioration in the glomerular filtration rate and/or the risk of the need for the hemodialysis.
