A vapor steam cleaner capable of discharging a silver colloidal solution vapor is provided to not only disinfect but sterilize the surfaces being cleaned by generating silver colloidal vapor by applying electric current to a silver foam attached to a positive electrode terminal in a silver colloidal solution generating device of a silver colloidal solution vapor generating unit. A vapor steam cleaner using a silver colloidal solution has a silver colloidal solution vapor generating unit installed on a back of the cleaner. The colloidal solution vapor generating unit generates silver colloidal solution vapor and supplies the vapor to a vapor nozzle. The silver colloidal vapor generating unit has a box fixed to the back of the steam cleaner body, a silver colloidal solution vapor generating device(22) installed in the box, and a vapor hose supplying the silver colloidal vapor generated to the vapor nozzle. The silver colloidal solution vapor generating device has a plug(42), a solenoid valve(43) regulating the supply of the vapor, a basin(33) holding the water needed for generating the steam, a silver colloidal solution generating device(100) turning the water into a silver colloidal solution, a pump(P) producing a high pressured silver colloidal solution, and a heating device(40) heating the high pressured silver colloidal solution. The heating device is connected to the solenoid valve and the pump by a hose. The silver colloidal solution generating device is fixed on an inner wall of the basin, and has positive and negative electrode terminals. A pair of electrode plates(107) are electrically contacted with the negative electrode terminal. Silver foam support members(102) are coupled to the positive electrode terminal. A silver foam(101) is attached to the silver foam support members.
