<p>The stator has a casing with an outer actuation crown (18) connected to variable pitch guide vane blades (12) by tie rods (16) to simultaneously actuate the blades, where the crown is made of carbon fiber based composite material. Circumferentially spaced roller groups are moved along a fixed co-axial rail (24) projecting on an outer surface of the casing and are coupled to the crown by a radial guiding arrangement. Each group has bi-conical rollers (34) engaged with the rail, where each roller is rotatably mounted on a radially oriented axle (36) slidably mounted in a bore (40) of the crown.</p> |
