<p>The device has a navigation unit (2), position determination device, processor unit with a main memory, and a mass storage device arranged in a mobile multimedia player (1) for receiving a data file. A navigation software is incorporated in the main memory and/or in the processor unit. A display unit and an operating control arrangement are separately arranged in the multimedia player. Navigation objectives and associated control characters are transformed and stored in a list format that is compatible to a playback list format of the multimedia player. An independent claim is also included for a method for displaying navigation direction of a navigation device.</p> |
