The gearbox has a control unit for controlling a shift fork (12) and comprising a tubular body (2), which includes two transversal longitudinal slots (19, 21) traversing a wall of the body. The body carries a slider block (3) that includes masks (25-30), where each mask is divided into semi-masks carried by foot traversing the respective slots, where the semi-masks are separated by a median part (32) corresponding to a space separating the slots.
