<p>According to one embodiment, an information recording apparatus which converts an HD DVD-VR content recorded based on the HD DVD-VR format into an interoperable content compatible with the HD DVD-Video format, and records the interoperable content, switches (ST22, ST23, ST24, ST25) the generation processing of a title for the interoperable content in accordance with each of a case in which the HD DVD-VR content comprises a title which includes video objects but does not include stream objects, a case in which the HD DVD-VR content comprises a title which does not include the video objects but includes the stream objects, and a case in which the HD DVD-VR content comprises a title which includes both the video objects and the stream objects.</p> |
