A collapsible box, preferably in the form of a box pallet, consists of wall assembly 14 which includes four wall panels 16, 18, 20 which are arranged in a square or rectangle, with a pair of opposite panels each being vertically divided into two equally dimensioned sub-panels 18, 20. The panels 16, 18, 20 are connected together via hinges 22, 24 provided at the corners of the panels 16 and the sub-panels 18, 20. The hinged edges of the sub-panels 18, 20 are movable towards each other until the sub-panels 18,20 of each divided wall panel are superimposed on each other and sandwiched between the pair of undivided panels 16, thus collapsing the box. The hinges 22, 24 are preferably in the form a threaded strip or tape 34, which is threaded through slots provided in the panels 16, 18, 20. |
