<p>A composition for producing a building item comprises: finely subdivided inert materials, an alkali metal polysilicate, an oxidizing agent, formaldehyde; a method for producing a building item comprises: dispersing finely subdivided inert materials in a solution of an alkali metal polysilicate, so as to obtain a mixture; adding an oxidizing agent and formaldehyde to said mixture; pouring said mixture into a mould, so as to enable said mixture to expand in volume, solidify and produce said item; drying said item.</p> |
