The system comprises a disposable assembly (1) constituted of a recirculation bag (4), a photoradiation bag (6), an incubation bag (21) and pipelines (5, 19, 22) connecting together the bags. The disposable assembly is inserted into an instrument equipped with sensors suitable to be connected to the respective devices in the disposable assembly (1). The sensors include an optical haematocrit sensor, pressure sensors to detect overpressure in the assembly and liquid pressure sensors to detect leeks. The instrument has at least one set of UVA lamps suitable for photoradiation and a chamber to receive the bag (6). |
