PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge in which ink can be supplied smoothly from an ink tank chamber to an ink end chamber at the time of using ink while ensuring safety in printing. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 1 being connected removable to a head for recorder comprises an ink tank chamber 11 opening into the atmosphere under connection state of head and cartridge, and a container body 2 communicating with the ink tank chamber 11 and having an ink end chamber (upper first ink containing chamber 16, and the like) leading to the head wherein the container body 2 is provided with a first opening 85 communicating with the ink tank chamber 11 and a second opening 86 communicating with the ink end chamber. |
