Cutting unit for crops

The unit has two rails (2) with cutting elements, of which one rail is propelled and set with knife blades (3). The rail carrying the knife blades is guided over a number of hinges (5). An articulated bearing (6) is provided at the front ends with approximately vertically arranged axle (7). The articulated bearing has a drive pin, riveted on a knife blade, and a drive bush (10) arranged on the guidance arm. The drive pin has a retaining pin (8) and a bearing cap (9). The retaining pin pushes the knife blade and connects the bearing cap torque proof with the knife blade.
