A transportable goods storage area, such as a vehicle trailer 30, for the movement of goods therein is provided with at least two portions 32, 36 for the storage of goods, one portion 36 located above the other 32 and at least one of the portions can be configured so as to allow the storage of goods in differing temperatures to those held in the other of said storage portions. The configuration may also allow the storage of goods in the different parts of the same storage portion at different temperatures. The provision of different parts or storage portions at different temperatures means that in any given portion there may be provided goods required to be stored at chilled temperatures, goods required to be stored at frozen temperatures, and/or goods which can be stored at ambient conditions. The configuration of the storage portions can be achieved by the movement of partition panels 54 along the length thereof. Access for loading and unloading may be via rear or side doors. |
