<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily and efficiently delivering information relative to programs. <P>SOLUTION: In a program information delivery system of broadcast service, a delivery terminal which is connected with program providers and receivers respectively via a two-way transmission network, includes a means for storing first discriminative information for discriminating between program information received from the program providers and program information at the time of updating; a means for receiving second discriminative information for discriminating information relevant to programs stored in the receivers' terminals; a means for comparing the second discriminative information and the first discriminative information; and a means for creating updating information for updating the program information stored in the receivers' terminals according to the result of comparison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
