PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor hood having excellent damper sealing ability, opening/closing balance and rain water invasion preventive measures. SOLUTION: This outdoor hood consists of a damper plate 4 installed on the outdoor side of a ventilating hole 1 where a ventilating fan 2 is installed on the indoor side and opening/closing an air duct by making the upper part of the outdoor side of a damper fixing frame 3 having the air duct inside rotatably support the upper part of the plate 4, a hood 5 covering the damper plate 4 and being fixed on the damper fixing frame 3 with an opening on the lower surface, a driving machine 8 for opening/closing the damper plate 4, an auxiliary plate 10 installed inside the hood 5 and projected to the outdoor side on the upper part of the damper fixing frame 3, a shore plate 11 pivotally mounted on the auxiliary plate 10 and drawn upward or obliquely upward by the driving machine 8, and a damper pressing bar 12 with its both ends pivotally mounted on the shore plate 11 and the damper plate 4 on both the ends.
