The brush slides in the vertical position in relation to the car, and is rotated in a frame. Its shaft is in two or more sections, on each of which a tubular brush-section rotates, and the angles included by the shaft sections are adjustable to match the car cross-section. There can be top, middle and bottom shaft-sections, the top one tilting on the frame via a horizontal axis and being coupled to the middle one via a parallelogram guide. The bottom section can be adjustable for angle, or fixed in position, and the shaft can turn in the frame on a vertical axis (31), and typically through 180 degrees during the washing operation from a position in front of the car to one behind it, the bottom section being always inclined towards the car. |
