The device has the weighing material (5) accommodating the container (1). A weighing device (2) is provided for recording of the weight of the container. An actuator (6) is used for filling the container, present on the weighing device, with the weighing material. Another actuator (7) is used for emptying the container present on the weighing device or for applying the empty container on the weighing device. A control device (8) is used for producing control signals (S 6,S 7) for the actuators. A signal filter (9) has changeable filter characteristic for filtering the weighing signal (m) supplied by the weighing device. An independent claim is also included for a method for gravimetrically metering pouring or flowing weighing material.
