A wind power generation system is provided to generate power regardless of the intensity of wind and simplify the configuration of the wind power generation system by arranging air compression units, first and second air tanks, an air motor, and a generator. A wind power generating system includes a plurality of air compression units(10), first air tanks(20), a second air tank(30), an air motor(40), and a generator(50). The air compression units have compressors(13) attached to a rotary shaft of a propeller(12). The first air tanks are connected to the respective compressors, and store air compressed by the compressors. The second air tank stores compressed air supplied from the first air tanks. The air motor rotates by the air pressure supplied from the second air tank. The generator converts rotating force of the air motor into electrical energy. A plurality of compressors are connected in serial on the rotary shaft, and clutches are arranged among the compressors so as to increase/decrease the number of the operating compressors in accordance with the intensity of wind. |
