The device comprises a casing through which a material possibly containing foreign objects is passed. A device for separating objects from a mixture comprises a casing through which the mixture can be passed. Objects such as stones, bolts or nuts present in the mixture can be separate from the remaining material, comprising e.g. a gas, vapor or powder. An independent claim is also included for a separation method using this device.
