<p>A functional batting glove with an improved structure is provided to prevent a batter from getting injured by a shock hitting a ball, and to inhibit a bat from falling away from the batter's hands. A functional batting glove(20) includes: a body(22) constituted by a back portion, a palm(21), and knuckles(23); a wrist band(24); and a cushion portion(100) divided into a first cushion section(110) applied to an area of the body corresponding to the palm, a second cushion section(120) applied to each of the knuckles, and a fourth cushion section(140) applied to an area of the palm corresponding to the thumb. The cushion portion is either placed underneath the inner skin of the body or adhered to the outer face of the body. Preferably, the cushion portion is made out of elastic materials such as sponge, rubber, and urethane.</p> |
