A mobile communication terminal, and a method and a system for providing preview channel information in DMB are provided to offer the broadcast information of a different channel through the capture image of a preview type so that a user can easily check the broadcast information of the different channel and a buffering time required to switch a channel can be reduced. A system for providing preview channel information in DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) includes a DMB system(100) and a mobile communication terminal(200). The DMB system includes a satellite DMB center(111), a DMB satellite(112), and a gap filler(113). The satellite DMB center detects and processes images representing a broadcast content, generates a capture image, and transmits the generated capture image. The DMB satellite receives the DMB signal transmitted from the satellite DMB center and relays the DMB signal to the mobile communication terminal or the gap filler. The gap filler receives the DMB signal from the DMB satellite and relays the DMB signal to a mobile communication terminal positioned in a dead zone. The mobile communication terminal receives the DMB signal through the DMB satellite or the gap filler, detects, processes, edits, and stores the capture image, and displays the stored capture image.
