A short time delay interference noise cancellation wireless repeater using a feedback technique and a controlling method thereof are provided to cancel various unwanted interference noise signals generated in a wireless space, thereby improving functions of the wireless repeater, consequently speech quality of a wireless communication subscriber is improved. A transceiving unit processes signals received through transceiving antennas(201,208) by using a direction conversion method, and filters/amplifies particular frequency bands of the signals, then transmits the signals to a wireless space. An interference noise cancellation unit(209) detects signals at the first spot and the third spot, extracts unwanted interference noise signals by comparing/analyzing the detected signals, and generates phase-reversed interference noise signals with the same frequency, amplitude coefficient, delay time coefficient as the extracted signals, then transmits the phase-reversed interference noise signals to the second spot to offset the unwanted interference noise signals.
