摘要 A method for pressure swing adsorption is provided to minimize the amount of product gas used in a purge step and a re-pressurization process, thereby increasing the recovery rate of product. A plurality of parallel adsorption beds(1) are operated in a cyclic process for recovering weak adsorbable components from a feed gas mixture containing one or more weak adsorbable components and one or more strong adsorbable components. Each of the adsorption beds has a feed end and a product end. Each of the adsorption beds is passed by a feed/product step, one or more depressurization steps, a purge step, and one or more re-pressurization steps. In the purge step, a purge gas having abundant weak adsorbable components is introduced into the product end of the bed and a purge exhaust gas is withdrawn from the feed end of the bed. At least a portion of the purge exhaust gas withdrawn from a first adsorption bed is introduced into a feed end of a second adsorption bed at any time except the feed/product step for the second adsorption bed.
