An ignition control method for a gasoline alternative fuel engine and an apparatus thereof are provided to control ignition timing accurately and modify a gasoline fuel engine into the gasoline alternative fuel engine without large cost. A gasoline alternative fuel injection system includes a non-gasoline fuel electronic control unit(3A) for receiving a gasoline fuel injection signal output from a gasoline fuel control unit, calculating an injection amount of non-gasoline fuel on the basis of the gasoline fuel injection signal, and outputting a signal to an injector(4). The non-gasoline fuel electronic control unit directly controls an ignition coil by outputting an ignition signal suitable for non-gasoline fuel on the basis of the engine rotation signal output from an engine rotation signal detector. |
