DRIVING METHOD FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

A method for driving a plasma display panel is provided to stabilize a discharge process in the PDP(Plasma Display Panel) by changing reset, sustain and address periods in different sub-fields. A scan electrode is formed to be parallel to a sustain electrode. An address electrode is formed to cross the scan and sustain electrodes. A concentration of lead is smaller than 1000 ppm. A length of a reset period for one of sub-fields in a frame is different from those of other reset periods in the rest sub-fields. A length of an address period for one of sub-fields in one frame is different from those of other address periods in the rest sub-fields. A length of a sustain period for one of sub-fields in one frame is different from those of other sustain periods in the rest sub-fields.
