A hollow-type crankshaft is provided to perform the bonding of a hollow member with ease in manufacturing a crankshaft by performing a cast bonding in a state where the hollow member coated with borax-based flux is interposed between a crank pin and a crank journal. A hollow part(21) is formed by interposing a hollow member(20) inside a crank part. The hollow member is coated with paste-type flux including 8~13 weight% boric acid, 21~26 weight% borax, 34~44.5 weight% calcium fluoride, 26~32 weight% hydrofluoric acid, and 0.5~1.5 weight% impurities at the thickness of 30 to 100 micrometers. Melted metal is injected inside the crank and cast-bonded in a state where the hollow member is interposed in the crank. |
