A flow distribution valve core (2) and a flow distribution valve (1) are disclosed, whereby the flow distribution valve core (2) comprises a main opening with a main flow area (5) and a sleeve area (7) and the flow distribution valve core (2) may be displaced in a valve tube (3) of the flow distribution valve (1). The aim of the invention is to distribute a fluid flow with simple means into any partial ratios and partial flows. Said aim is achieved, whereby the sleeve area (7) of the flow distribution valve core (2) has at least one first branch opening (8) with a first branch flow area (12) and a second branch opening (9) with a second branch flow area (13), whereby the branch flow areas (12, 13) are connected to the main flow area (5) by means of a flow path. The flow distribution valve (1) comprises a valve tube (3), with at least one first valve opening (16) with a first valve flow area (17) and a second valve opening (18) with a second valve flow area (19) and the flow distribution valve core (2) may be displaced in the axial direction of the valve tube (3).
