An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) module and an LCD having the same are provided to reduce greatly a difference between sizes of the exterior of the LCD module and its case by forming space suitable for containing a camera module in the LCD module and increase a containing space within the LCD module and the case. An LCD module(100) includes a display panel(10), a support member(20), a bottom sash(30), a light source(40), and a top sash(50). The support member includes an inside(22), an outside(24), and a first container(26). The inside supports an NEDP(Non Effective Display Panel) and is formed by an opening formed in correspondence with an EDP(Effective Display Panel). The outside is opposite to the inside. The first container is depressingly formed from the outside to the inside. The bottom sash has a second container(36) closely attached to a bottom side and the first container, includes a side wall(34) projected from a bottom plate(32) along the outside, and contains the display panel and the support member. The top sash includes a first side(52), a second side(54), and a third container(56). The first side covers the NEDP. The second side is extended from the first side to the side wall and is joined to the side wall. The third container is closely attached to the second container. |
