CALIBRATION DEVICE FOR GRINDING HEAD OF LCD PANEL

An apparatus for compensating the grinding head of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel is provided to perform compensation of interval between a grinding tip and a height sensor more correctly by enabling a pneumatic cylinder supporting the grinding tip to maintain a correct position during the compensation of the grinding head. An apparatus for calibrating the grinding head(50) of an LCD panel includes an upper plate(62), a support member(64), and an elastic support unit(70). The upper plate supports evenly the LCD panel. The support member supports the upper plate. The elastic support unit is installed between the support member and an external frame(F), supports the support member slidably for the external frame in up/down directions, and supports the support member so that the support member can move elastically in a down direction.
