METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING AUDIO BOOK SERVICE

A method and a system for providing an audio-book service are provided to manage audio-book contents corresponding to book contents easily, and shorten a transfer time and improve transfer efficiency when the audio-book contents are transmitted to a terminal from an audio-book server. A text storing part(220) stores the audio-book contents in a text style. An information converter(260) converts text information corresponding to the audio-book contents requested from the terminal into digital information. A transceiver(280) transmits the digital information to the terminal. The terminal includes a voice synthesizer for synthesizing the digital information received from the audio-book server(200) into voice information, an outputting part for outputting the synthesized voice information, a text synthesizer for synthesizing the digital information into text information, and a synchronizer for synchronizing the voice information with the text information. The outputting part outputs the synchronized voice and text information.
