DEVELOPMENT OF E.COLI-LACTOBACILLUS SHUTTLE VECTOR AND IT'S APPLICATION

A shuttle vector is provided to be used as a backbone vector for expressing foreign genes and useful genes by securing excellent transformation efficiency and the characteristic of being stably maintained after being transformed into a lactobacillus sp. strain. A shuttle vector consists of a sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 1, is prepared by linking a plasmid p84 having a cleavage map described in Fig. 3 and derived from Lactobacillus plantarum to pUC19-CAT vector derived from E.coli and is replicable in the E.coli and Lactobacillus, wherein the plasmid p84 includes a replication sequence(Ori) of SEQ ID : NO. 2, a RepA gene having a sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 3, and a Mob gene having a sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 3. A lactobacillus sp. transformant is transformed by the shuttle vector.
