A stoker type thermal decomposition furnace is provided to use fuel gas generated from combustible waste as a heat source by forming a stoker group of a step type on a water pipe wall. A stoker type thermal decomposition furnace comprises a stoker group(23), a pusher(24), a waste input unit(18), and a combusted air supply unit(26). The stoker group is formed as a step type at a water pipe wall(22). The pusher pushes waste of each end to a lower end. The waste input unit is installed at the upper end of the stoker group. The combusted air supply unit is mounted on the lower end of the stoker group. The waste input unit includes a hopper(17) storing waste, a rotary feeder(16) or a two step damper blocking fire in a furnace connected to the lower part of the hopper.
