A stepping exercise device is provided to enable a user to exercise user's upper body and arms while walking without the need to do the exercising of the upper body and arms separately from the waling motion. A stepping exercise device includes a handle(10), a shoe connecting body(20) and an elastic string(30). An elastic string connecting hook(11) is installed on one side of the handle. An elastic string connecting hook(21) is installed on one side of the shoe connecting body, which is fixed on a shoe(200). The elastic string is installed between the handle and the shoe connecting body. The elastic string connecting hook is installed on the upper end of a fixing member(22) fixed on the center of the lower part of the outer side of the shoe. A weight plate(201) is installed on the upper part of the front of the inside of the shoe.
