A camera module equipped with a voice coil motor is provided to improve the driving force of the voice coil motor by changing the shape of the voice coil motor for an auto focus(AF) function and a zoom function of the camera module. A camera module includes a camera housing(110), a lens module(120), a barrel(130), an IR filter(160), an image sensor(150), and a voice coil motor(140). The lens module has an outer circumference part having a spiral part. The lens module is inserted into and installed in the camera housing to receive an optical image of an object. The barrel has an inner circumference part having a spiral part corresponding to the spiral part of the lens module. The IR filter blocks an infrared ray of light incident on the lens module. The image sensor images the light without the infrared ray to generate an electrical signal. The voice coil motor includes a coil and a magnet and moves the lens module to an optical axis. The coil is provided at the outer circumference surface of the barrel such that the coil has a curvature. The magnet is provided in the camera housing while facing the coil.
